Innovation Through Use

Too many solutions isn't the solution
Just writing this short introduction, I can already hear the whistles and some of the comments my colleagues might make: “What? Isn’t innovation enough? It’s one of our cornerstones!” or even: “As an integrator, we have a duty to implement new technologies and dive into market trends!”
Sorry, dear colleagues, I won’t take the easy way out!
Last month, during a meeting with a client I respect immensely (a little flattery never hurts), he shared his wildest dreams with me: a massive open space, a walkway connecting the interior and exterior, a giant screen, an LED wall, state-of-the-art videoconferencing equipment, sensors everywhere… Inside, I started screaming, “Stop!”
Less product placements! More real-life uses!
And then, my mouth opens slightly to let a word—or rather, two—escape: “Uses.” And yes, that’s the very essence of our profession—above all else: helping you define uses based on your environment, your users, your priorities, and your needs!
I’d love to walk out of a meeting with a list of products we’ve put together based on your preferences, to be able to create a flexible space of an unlikely size, with movable partitions that meet all user needs. I’d love to design a user-friendly room for hybrid meetings of 8 to 70 people, featuring high-performance audiovisual recording capable of handling any scenario at a low cost, along with fully platform-agnostic technology—all delivered in a timeframe that defies the competition…
Alas! This dream space doesn’t exist—or at least, not as we envision it! We can work quickly and effectively while still taking the time to think things through, ensuring we address the question of usage and the user journey well before tackling the question of solutions and innovation.

Our collaboration is essential
This collaborative effort in the early stages involves a genuine process of reflection based on a shared goal with all project stakeholders. Even though we have close relationships with manufacturers and our suppliers that give us a thorough understanding of the market, Videlio is not an “audiovisual supermarket.”
This essential dialogue therefore enables us to design and deliver a space that will stand the test of time—one that is well-thought-out and scalable, but above all, tailored to your specific needs.
It’s all about your needs, time and again, to ensure everyone’s satisfaction and foster a high-quality partnership!
In fact, I’m looking forward to our next discussion. You know what it’ll be about…
