Our History

More than 35 years of advancing the audiovisual experience.
Since 1989, Videlio has grown with a single conviction: technology evolves, but its value is always measured by what it enables us to experience and accomplish.
Over the years, new areas of expertise, new talent, and new markets have joined the journey.
This journey has gradually shaped what Videlio is today: a multi-disciplinary group that is close to its clients and capable of supporting them both in France and internationally.
A Story of Intertwining Areas of Expertise

1989 | It all began in Rennes
The adventure began with the founding of IEC Audio Vidéo Pro.
The Group gradually expanded in France and brought together new areas of expertise in the professional audiovisual sector.
These early years laid the foundation for what would become Videlio: complementary skills, teams that work closely with their clients, and constantly evolving audiovisual expertise.
They joined the adventure:
Audio Équipement · R+R · C2M · Video IEC España · Qualtech · CEV
2006–2013 | New Careers, New Horizons
2006 marked a turning point.
With the acquisition of HMS, the Group entered the cruise ship market and accelerated its international expansion, particularly in Europe and the United States.
At the same time, its areas of expertise continued to expand in broadcast, post-production, collaboration, and services.
The Group scaled up and gradually established what would become its unique selling point: bringing together diverse audiovisual expertise to support increasingly ambitious projects.
Joining the adventure:
HMS · Cap’Ciné · Auvi One · Preview GM System · Genedis – Alsace Audio Visuel

2014 | A brand to bring us together
IEC is becoming VIDELIO.
More than just a name change, Videlio unites the Group’s areas of expertise and teams under a single identity.
A single brand to embody a collective ambition, enhance visibility, and support the Group’s growth both in France and internationally.
Multiple areas of expertise. One shared brand.

2015–2023 | Taking on a New International Dimension
Already active internationally, particularly through its cruise line operations, Videlio continues to expand beyond national borders.
Broadcast Networks in the United Kingdom, Nevicom—now Videlio Switzerland—and FUNA in Germany join the Group.
Videlio is thus strengthening its European presence and its ability to draw on local expertise to support international projects.
Staying close to our customers, wherever their projects take us.

2024 | Videlio at the Paris Olympic Games

2024–2026 | Accelerate
A new chapter begins.
Videlio is accelerating its growth in France and internationally, expanding its regional network, and investing in new areas of expertise and new markets.
In France, Avantages Vidéo, Octalino, and Agelec are joining the Group, notably strengthening its positions in education and critical environments.
In Italy, the acquisition of Team Office in Rome consolidates Videlio’s European presence.
In 2026, the Group continues this momentum with the launch of Videlio Middle East & Africa in Saudi Arabia and the acquisition in Germany of HOME & MARINE (H&M), a specialist in onboard technologies for superyachts.
More expertise. More markets. The same ambition.

And the story continues
For more than 35 years, Videlio has evolved alongside its clients, its industries, and technology.
A variety of areas of expertise come together.
New teams join us.
New horizons open up.
New applications emerge.
But one thing remains constant: our commitment to putting technology at the service of the user experience.
Yesterday and tomorrow alike, our story is shaped by the projects we make possible.
