THE PROJECT

NAUSICAA, the National Marine Center, is not only one of the largest aquariums in Europe, but also a research center dedicated to helping visitors discover the wonders of the sea and raising public awareness about ocean conservation issues. Through an exceptional immersive experience, visitors will be able to immerse themselves in the climate changes of today and tomorrow via 3D virtual images projected from floor to ceiling.

SOLUTIONS PROVIDED

To create this unique projection experience spanning 410 square meters, the Videlio teams deployed ingenious video, audio, and lighting solutions. Since visitors were standing very close to the images projected onto the floor and walls, it was essential to deliver very high image quality, bright whites, and a high level of contrast. And to ensure a fully immersive experience for visitors, audio was another key element, with the control and coordination of all components once again proving crucial to the smooth execution of the experience.
