MSC Grandiosa

THE PROJECT
To set themselves apart, cruise lines like MCS Cruises are brimming with creativity. They go out of their way to entertain their guests by offering increasingly spectacular activities, ensuring they have an unforgettable experience. Onboard entertainment has therefore become a major priority. But how should they go about it?
Cruise ships are going digital, and cruise lines are increasingly relying on cutting-edge technologies to provide entertainment or share information about onboard services. Today, industry professionals aim to offer cruise passengers a truly digital experience. TV, streaming, touchscreens, virtual staff, GPS wristbands, interactive cabins, and even apps that can be customized to suit individual tastes and preferences… Everything is designed to simplify travelers’ lives and enhance the onboard experience.
In practical terms, the equipment and layout of the ships’ public spaces are crucial steps that require the involvement of dozens of different trades. Among them, the Videlio teams are hard at work contributing their expertise and designing unique digital experiences.
SOLUTIONS PROVIDED
Here’s a brief guided tour inside the MSC Grandiosa to see the results. On this immense ship, every space features lighting designed to harmoniously complement the ship’s various areas. In addition, an incredible sound system has been installed to broadcast information and amplify the shows held on board.
Videlio also installed audiovisual solutions on the MSC Grandiosa, specifically in the 32 bars and restaurants, as well as inside the 2,440 cabins. The icing on the cake—and a major technical feat—is that our teams managed to install 1,664 curved LED panels in the main atrium, creating the impression of a true digital sky stretching nearly 100 meters.
