Lalique Museum

THE PROJECT
The Lalique Museum is located in Wingen-sur-Moder (Bas-Rhin), the village where René Lalique—a jeweler who later became a master glassmaker—founded his factory in 1922. As a public institution designated as a “Musée de France,” it showcases not only the company’s exceptional creations but also its manufacturing techniques. The museum’s first audiovisual systems were installed by Videlio more than 12 years ago. A relationship built on trust that continues to this day!
THE ISSUE
Videlio responded to the request for proposals issued by the exhibition designer Ducks Scéno to renovate the entire visitor experience within the museum. The challenge? To modernize and revitalize the visitor experience through new systems such as touchscreen tablets featuring interactive games and presentations that allow visitors to engage with the artworks and highlight the museum’s history and the various professions represented there.
SOLUTION PROVIDED
- Upgrade of the 3 display points with 10,000-lumen short-throw projectors
- A video wall consisting of 27 Samsung monitors (ultra-thin bezel) + push-pull mounts
- Addition or modification of mounting rails (adapting spaces such as the entrance or existing furniture to accommodate the new devices) for the integration of multiple touchscreen monitors
- Integration of IIYAMA touchscreen or informational monitors in various sizes + Brightsign HD1024 or HD224 players
- Content creation for the monitors
