Arena - Montpellier
THE PROJECT
As part of the renovation of the Sud de France Arena, Videlio was commissioned to replace the LED screens in the cluster and modernize the IPTV network.
This collaboration builds on a long-standing relationship: Videlio has in-depth knowledge of the Arena’s infrastructure, having previously participated in its construction by installing stage networks, video equipment, and sports timing solutions.
TECHNICAL SOLUTIONS
Two display configurations:
- Touring configuration with DW3CURVE modules featuring a 3.9 mm pixel pitch.
- Sports / Entertainment: 4 screens measuring 6 × 3.5 m, or 21 m² each, forming a cube in the center of the hall, with a tilt angle of up to 15° and 25°.
- Conventions: a modular configuration that allows for the creation of two 42 m² screens or a single 84 m² screen.
Source Management:
- 4 NOVASTAR MCTRL660 processors capable of managing up to 4 different sources when all 4 walls are used independently.
- 2 MCTRL4K processors, 4K-compatible, capable of controlling the 4 screens of 21 m², the 2 screens of 42 m², or a single screen of 84 m², with a backup system.
Additional equipment:
- Structure designed for tilting the screens.
- Fly Open Road system.
