THE PROJECT

As part of the framework agreement between Videlio and the City of Paris, our teams were asked to design and equip the city council chamber at City Hall in Paris’s 20th arrondissement.

For several years now, Videlio has been supporting numerous Parisian city halls as well as various City of Paris sites with their audiovisual integration projects. This new project further solidifies a long-standing partnership built on trust and the expertise of our teams.

THE ISSUES

  • Modernize the city council chamber by incorporating high-performance communication solutions tailored to new uses.
  • Enable the recording and live streaming of meetings on the City Hall’s websites and social media platforms.
  • Ensure the room’s accessibility through an inclusive solution adapted for people who wear hearing aids.

SOLUTIONS

The Videlio teams equipped the city council chamber with 8 AVMATRIX cameras—including 6 fixed cameras and 2 PTZ cameras—2 65-inch Samsung Display Solutions screens, 24 Televic conference stations, and 4 Arthur Holm retractable speakers.

To ensure the room’s accessibility, a magnetic induction loop was also installed under the wooden floor. This system transmits sound via electromagnetic waves, allowing people who wear hearing aids to hear speakers clearly and effectively.
